The five Lake Side Apartments have a kitchen with a refrigerator, Bora induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, egg boiler, and toaster. Smart TV and Wi-Fi are also available.

Hiking at Resia Pass and Surroundings

Our apartments are the ideal starting point for hikes of every type: from easy walks at lower altitudes to demanding hikes in high alpine terrain. The Brugger Alm alpine hut at the Resia Pass, at an altitude of 1,914 meters, and the Plamort panorama plateau with its spectacular view of Lake Resia are two top destinations for a summer experience. The Rojental Valley circular trail and the Venosta Valley High Mountain Trail to the Matscher Alm alpine pasture are also popular for mountain hikes.
In Nauders, Austria, the Bergkastell hiking area and idyllic mountain lakes, such as the Green Lake(Grüner See), are just waiting to be discovered. Those who enjoy high alpine hiking should head to the Weißkugel alpine hut, a great destination for a summer tour offering the possibility to reach the peak.

Cycling

The village of San Valentino alla Mutaoffers a wide variety of cycling trails! One highlight is the tour from Lake Haidersee (Lake San Valentino) to Lake Resia along the historic road of the Roman Empire, Via Claudia Augusta. The route is well signposted, scenic, and combines sporting activity with nature experiences.

Take a Walk Around the Lake

To all nature lovers: The circular trail around Lake San Valentino combines unspoiled nature with pure serenity. A relaxed two-hour walk takes you around the lake, past wooden boardwalks through a protected biotope, with constant views of the majestic Ortler Alps. Benches along the path invite you to stop, rest, and admire the diverse flora and fauna.

Fishing Paradise Near Graun

You can also go fishing at Lake Haidersee! Note that a license and a day ticket are required to fish. And even if you don't catch anything, the unique panorama makes the day a truly memorable experience.

In fact, we recommend visiting the Marienberg Abbey in Burgeis, the Churburg Castle in Schluderns, the Kastelbell Castle in the homonymous municipality, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Convent of St. John Müstair in Switzerland.

City tour: Urban Style

Visit Glurns, the smallest town of South Tyrol, with its well-preserved city walls, or the Mediterranean-alpinethermal city Merano with its wonderful gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle. In 100 km, you can reach the city of Bolzano and visit its beautiful old town. If you also want to visit Switzerland's neighboring regions, you can check out Samnaun, Livigno, or St. Moritz. Those places are not very far from Aqua Vista!

Winter Hikes Through Snow-Covered Landscapes

Popular destinations for winter hikes and snowshoe tours include the alpine pastures Planeiler Alm in the Planeiltal valley and the Reschner Alm above Lake Resia, where you can enjoy incredible views of the iconic church tower rising from the water and the snow-covered King Ortler. In the nearby Austrian location Nauders, the gentle winter hike to the Black Lake (Schwarzer See) leads you into an especially idyllic and atmospheric snow paradise. Plenty of fresh snow and exciting snowshoe adventures also await you in Langtaufers.

Ski Touring at the Resia Pass Holiday Region

The Skiing Area Schöneben-Haideralm

An exciting day on the slopes awaits you at the Schöneben-Haideralm skiing area. With 15 lifts, 65 kilometers of slopes, and runs of all difficulty levels, this ski resort is ideal for both beginners and advanced skiers. Even the little ones can have fun in the snow park and on the fun slope.

Sunny trails, magnificent views of the Ortler massif, and easy access near the Aqua Vista make the cross-country ski trail in San Valentino alla Muta the perfect destination for our active guests. Those who would like to ski longer distances can join the three-country ski trail, which extends all the way to Nauders in Austria.

When the lake freezes over, you can lace up your skates and make pirouettes right at the apartment’s doorstep. Otherwise, Lake Resia is an idyllic alternative, just ten minutes away by car. Our holiday apartments are near our Hotel Goldener Adler in Claudia-Augusta-Street 3, Graun/Curon. The key handover will be arranged directly at the hotel at a scheduled time. You can check in from 4:00 PM. On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the accommodation by 10:00 AM.
Yes, Aqua Vista has a lift, allowing barrier-free access to all floors.
There are enough private parking spaces available.
Dogs are allowed for an additional fee of (15€ per dog and night). Please let us know in advance.
Children receive a discount:
0-3.99 years: 10 € / night;
4-11.99 years: 20 € /night;
12-15.99 years: 30 € /night ;
over 16 years: 40 € / night.
Aqua Vista is in the heart of San Valentino alla Muta/St. Valentin auf der Haide, just a short walk from restaurants and shops. A grocery store is directly opposite the accommodation, while a bakery, a supermarket, two sports shops, a newsstand, and an electronics store are all close by.

For a culinary highlight right on Lake Haidersee, we recommend Restaurant Zeress, where you can enjoy traditional South Tyrolean dishes with a modern twist.
